Cinnamon and Sugar Rusks
The perfect cinnamon and sugar rusks recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- Not quite as fresh white bread or other types of bread
- 1 glass Sugar
- 2 tsp Ground cinnamon
- Tried something again because I had too much white bread …
- Remove the edge of the bread slices, cut in half and cut triangles from them.
- Put the cinnamon and sugar in a cereal bowl and mix together.
- Preheat the oven to 120 degrees. The best way to do this is to use upper / lower heat.
- Line the baking sheet with parchment paper. Waste the triangular bread pieces on both sides in the cinnamon-sugar mixture. That works quite well, because the bread takes the sugar nicely and it spreads out well.
- Place on the baking sheet and put in the oven. Turn the oven down to 100 degrees and let the triangular loaves dry. For me it was about 30 minutes. In between times do the hard test whether the pieces of bread have become nice and dry and firm (crispy).
- And you’re done! I’ll tell you: yummy !!! And with the cinnamon-sugar mixture it also goes well with autumn / winter and the Christmas season :)))
- Have fun trying it out!
