How to clean your DeLonghi Magnifica inside and out

Thorough cleaning at not too long intervals will extend the life of your fully automatic coffee machine. Before cleaning, turn off and unplug the DeLonghi Magnifica.

  1. External cleaning is quick and should be done regularly. Wipe the case with a damp, soft cloth. Empty the drip tray and clean it together with the cover grid.
  2. The next step is to clean the brew group. The various Magnifica models differ in terms of how to remove the brew group. Please refer to the operating instructions for this.
  3. Clean the brew group itself thoroughly under running water and grease the brew group of the coffee machine. You will find separate instructions for this on our website. We also show in another article how to reinsert the DeLonghi brew group.
