How you fix the error message depends on what is causing it.

  • If the error message “Restart device” appears in the display and no LEDs are flashing, the cause is a fault in the coffee machine.
  • In this case it is sufficient to switch off the Siemens EQ 3. Wait about ten seconds before turning the device back on.
  • If additional LEDs flash in connection with the error message in the display, the error has a different origin. The coffee machine tells you that the platform is very dirty.
