Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 4 egg whites
  • 150 g sugar
  • 65 g quark
  • 200 g desiccated coconut

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 12 hours; Total time approx. 12 hours 30 minutes

Beat egg whites with sugar until creamy. Stir in desiccated coconut and quark. Cover the mixture and refrigerate for about half a day; it will thicken and become malleable. Preheat oven to 180°C. Form very small balls (about 5 g) from the mixture and place them on a baking sheet. Bake in the oven for about 7-10 minutes until light golden. Then let the coconut balls cool completely and transfer them to a plastic container. Seal tightly and let them rest for a day. They will then become wonderfully soft and are ready to eat.
