Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 400 ml coconut cream or coconut milk, unsweetened
  • 50 g desiccated coconut
  • 450 g gelling sugar, 1:1
  • 1 pinch of nutmeg
  • n. B. Vanilla pulp
  • n. B. Brittle (caramel)

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

for those with a sweet tooth…

Bring coconut milk or coconut cream to a boil with the gelling sugar. Stir in the desiccated coconut. Add nutmeg, vanilla extract, and/or caramel brittle, if desired. Boil gently for 4 minutes. Pour into jars, turn them upside down, and refrigerate later. Due to their slightly firmer consistency, the desiccated coconut spreads evenly and doesn’t settle to the bottom.
