Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 1 ¼ liters of water
- 250 g coffee powder
- 300 ml apple juice, cloudy
- 1 kg gelling sugar 2:1
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 4 minutes; Total time approx. 49 minutes
The coffee is already on the roll.
Boil water, add coffee grounds, and let steep for 30 minutes. Strain through a coffee filter. The coffee should then yield 750 ml. If necessary, run a little more water through the filter. Pour into a larger pot, add apple juice and gelling sugar. Bring to a boil, and simmer for 4 minutes. Pour into clean jars and seal with boiled lids. Makes 10 jars of 200 ml each. Tip: The setting process can take up to a week. Do not move the jars during this time.
