Coleslaw with Bacon
The perfect coleslaw with bacon recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 1 Fresh white cabbage
- 250 gr Kat ham finely diced
- 150 ml Bianco balsamic vinegar
- 3 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Sugar
- 100 ml Sunflower oil
- 50 ml Linseed oil
- Cut the cabbage into fine strips and sprinkle with the salt and sugar.
- Now knead the cut cabbage vigorously.
- Fry the ham until translucent in a small pan and deglaze with the vinegar, bring to the boil briefly and then spread over the cabbage.
- Only then add the two oils and mix.
- Let the lettuce soak for about an hour, it gets even better if you let it stand overnight.
