Cookies: Almond Biscotti
The perfect cookies: almond biscotti recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
for the dough:
- 100 g Soft butter
- 50 g Fine sugar
- 150 g Flour
- 1 Msp Baking powder
- 1 pinch Salt
- 3 drops Bitter almond flavor
for the surface:
- 30 g Flaked almonds
- Brown sugar
- Knead the dough ingredients with your hands or the dough hook of the hand mixer to form a dough. If the dough is too dry, add 2 tablespoons of cold water.
- Shape the dough into walnut-sized balls. Roll them in brown sugar and place them next to each other on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Press flat with a fork dipped in water. Scatter the flaked almonds on top and press lightly.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees top / bottom heat for about 15 – 18 minutes until golden yellow. Then put the baking paper on a wire rack and let cool down.
