Ingredients for 16 servings:
- 1 cake base (sponge cake base)
- 1 pack of ready-made mix for cheese and cream cake cream
- 200 ml water
- 500 g cream
- 500 g quark (low-fat quark)
- 1 pack of cake glaze, clear
- 250 ml passion fruit juice
- 2 tbsp sugar
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 5 hours; Total time approx. 5 hours 30 minutes
Close the rim of the pan around the cake base. Whip the cream until stiff. Combine the cream powder and cold water in a bowl and mix for about 1/2 minute. Fold in the quark, then the cream in portions. Spread on the base. Combine the icing powder and sugar, stir in the passion fruit nectar, and bring to a boil while stirring. Spread over the quark and cream and chill the cake for 4-5 hours. Decorate with coconut chips, cream, or almond flakes, if desired.
