Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 kg tomatoes, green
  • Orange(s) – peel, grated
  • Lemon(s) – zest, grated
  • 1 vanilla pod(s), the pulp
  • 500 g gelling sugar (2:1)

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Peel the tomatoes and remove the stems, then puree and place in a saucepan. Add the grated orange and lemon zest, lemon juice, and cinnamon or vanilla bean pulp. Stir in the preserving sugar and simmer for 4 minutes. While still hot, pour into jars and seal.
