Cream Mushrooms with Gnocchi

The perfect cream mushrooms with gnocchi recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 500 g Fresh mushrooms
  • 1 Onion
  • 2 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 400 ml Cream
  • 1 tablespoon Flour
  • Salt
  • Pepper from the grinder
  • Sweet paprika
  • 800 g Gnocchi from the refrigerated shelf
  • 1 tablespoon Butter
  • Chives or spring onions
  1. Peel and finely dice the onion. Clean the mushrooms and cut them into slices.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large pan and fry the onions until translucent. Add the mushrooms and fry them.
  3. Deglaze the mushrooms with the cream. Mix the flour with 2 tablespoons of water and stir into the cream sauce. Season with salt, pepper and paprika. Let everything simmer for about 10 minutes.
  4. In the meantime, heat the butter in a large pan and fry the gnocchi for 5 minutes, turning until golden brown.
  5. Serve the gnocchi with the mushroom sauce and sprinkle with chives or spring onions cut into rolls.
