Creamy tomato and cream cheese sauce

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 250 g pasta
  • 100 g ham, diced
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 200 ml water
  • ½ tsp vegetable broth, instant
  • 2 tbsp tomato ketchup
  • 100 g cream cheese
  • n. B. Herbs, mixed, dried
  • salt and pepper
  • n.e. Paprika powder, rose hot

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Cook the pasta in salted water according to the package instructions. Dice the onion and fry with the ham in oil until translucent. Briefly fry the tomato paste and sugar and deglaze with water. Add the stock and stir to combine, then simmer briefly. Add the tomato ketchup and cream cheese and stir until the cream cheese dissolves and a smooth sauce forms. For a richer sauce, simply add a little more cream cheese. Add the herbs and season to taste. Add the pasta and serve.
