Crispy Chicken

Spread the love

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 250 g chicken breast or fillet
  • 1 egg(s)
  • some milk
  • some flour
  • 1 bag of chips, favorite variety
  • some oil, sunflower oil is good

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Crispy chicken nuggets

Cut the chicken into pieces (the size of chicken nuggets). Mix the whole egg with the milk. Shred the chips with a rolling pin or similar tool. It’s best to poke a small hole in the bag to let the air out, then use the rolling pin to work the bag. Dip the chicken pieces first in the flour, then in the egg-milk mixture, and then in the chips. Press the chips down firmly, especially the ones you like. Heat oil in a pan (use plenty of oil; the pieces should float; if you have it, you can also use a deep fryer). Fry for about 6-8 minutes, turning once. The crust should be golden brown. When the chips start to turn dark brown, remove the chicken from the pan, otherwise it will already taste slightly burnt. After removing them from the pan, place them on kitchen paper to drain some of the fat. Serve crispy chicken with a dip of your choice as a snack, appetizer, or side dish.
