Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 cup of cream
  • 250 g low-fat curd cheese
  • 250 g low-fat yogurt
  • 200 g currants, fresh
  • 30 g sugar or vanilla sugar
  • 8 tbsp muesli (crunchy muesli without berries)

Crispy, airy currant dessert

Whip the cream in a tall mixing bowl until stiff peaks form. Combine the quark with the yogurt and sugar. Wash the fresh currants (Träuble), remove the stems, and add to the quark cream. Gently fold in the cream. It shouldn’t be completely mixed in, as it will make the mixture fluffy. To serve, pour into dessert bowls and sprinkle with 1-2 tablespoons of granola. For a lower-fat version, you can also add beaten egg whites instead of the cream. Instead of granola, you can also toast chopped or sliced ​​almonds in a pan and sprinkle them on top.
