Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 50 g butter
  • 250 g sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 packets of vanilla sugar
  • 300 g flour
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 150 ml milk
  • 300 g sugar
  • 200 g chocolate (block chocolate)
  • 200 ml milk
  • 200 g butter
  • 2 bags of desiccated coconut for turning

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 50 minutes

For the pastry, beat the butter, sugar, and eggs until light and fluffy. Fold in the flour and baking powder. Add the milk. Pour the pastry mixture into a square pan (40 x 30 cm) and bake at 180°C (top/bottom heat) for approx. 18-20 minutes. Allow the cake to cool in the pan. For the cream, bring the sugar, chocolate block, and milk to a boil and remove from the heat. When the chocolate mixture has reached room temperature, stir in the butter. Place the desiccated coconut in a bowl. Now cut the cake into small cubes and coat the pieces first in the chocolate cream, then in the desiccated coconut, and refrigerate.
