Crumb Cookie Oatmeal Cookies

The perfect crumb cookie oatmeal cookies recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 125 g Butter
  • 125 g Sugar
  • 1 Pc. Egg, separated
  • 250 g Oatmeal
  • 50 g Almonds
  • 1 tsp Baking powder
  • 1 Egg yolk
  • Grated lemon peel
  • 4 Tbsp. Grated block chocolate
  1. Beat the butter, sugar and egg yolks until frothy. Add oat flakes, almonds, a little grated lemon peel (alternatively 3 drops of lemon flavor) and stir well with the dough hook of the mixer. Beat the egg whites until stiff and stir into the batter.
  2. Place small heaps or balls of the dough on the greased baking sheet and press flat with a fork (tip: also works very well with a melon ball shaper) Brush the biscuits with egg yolk or canned milk and sprinkle with grated block chocolate. Preheat oven. Fan 160 degrees, top and bottom heat 180 degrees, middle rack and bake for about 12 minutes until golden.
