Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 250g fusilli
  • 2 onions
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 200 g Vienna sausages
  • 150 g gherkins
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 tbsp herb melted cheese
  • 230 ml water
  • 2 tbsp mustard
  • 3 tbsp ketchup
  • e.g. salt and pepper
  • n. B. cheese, grated
  • n. B. fried onions

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Comfort food

Cook the pasta al dente according to the package instructions. Finely chop the onions, gherkins, and sausages. Add oil to a pan and fry the onions until translucent. Add the Vienna sausages and gherkins and fry. Add the tomato paste and mix everything together. Add the water and simmer briefly. Then add the processed cheese, mustard, ketchup, salt, and pepper. Bring back to a boil. Then add the pasta. Finally, add grated cheese and fried onions, if desired.
