Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 150 g jelly, currant
  • 2 tbsp cranberries
  • 80 ml red wine
  • 2 orange(s), untreated
  • 1 lemon(s), untreated
  • 1 piece(s) ginger, walnut-sized, finely diced
  • 1 tsp mustard seeds, crushed
  • 1 pinch of cayenne pepper
  • 1 tsp cornstarch (Gustin)

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Peel the zest from the washed oranges. Squeeze the oranges and lemon. Bring the crushed mustard seeds to a boil along with the ginger, red wine, orange juice, and lemon juice. Cook for about 5 minutes, then strain. Stir the redcurrant jelly, cranberries, and orange zest into the mustard seed and ginger broth until dissolved, then season with cayenne pepper. Thicken with the Gustin and let cool.
