Ingredients for 3 servings:
- 100 g butter
- 120 g sugar
- 4 eggs, separated
- 500 g quark (cottage cheese), low-fat
- 150 g semolina
- 1 lemon(s), (the juice)
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp butter, in flakes

Quark casserole
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius. Beat the butter, sugar, and egg yolks until thick and fluffy. Stir in the curd cheese, semolina, and lemon juice. Beat the egg whites until stiff and fold into the curd cheese mixture. Pour the mixture into a buttered gratin dish, sprinkle with sugar, and scatter with butter flakes. Bake in the oven at 180 degrees Celsius for 45 minutes.
