Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 600 ml milk
  • 95 g apple syrup
  • 30 ml maple syrup
  • ¼ tsp cinnamon powder
  • 1 tsp. clove powder
  • 1 bag of vanilla sugar
  • Cinnamon stick(s) as decoration

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 8 minutes; Total time approx. 13 minutes

In a heavy medium saucepan, whisk together the milk, applesauce, maple syrup, cinnamon powder, and cloves. Heat gently over low heat until the milk is steaming but not boiling. Remove from the heat and stir in the vanilla sugar. Garnish each cup with a piece of cinnamon stick.
