Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 25 g corn (popcorn)
- 17 g sugar
- ½ packet of vanilla sugar
- 1 tsp butter (approx. 5 g)
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
for all owners of a hot air popcorn machine
First, prepare the popcorn in a hot-air popcorn maker according to the package instructions. Meanwhile, place a tall pot on the stove. Add the sugar, vanilla sugar, and butter and increase the heat to high. Stir well with a spatula. After about 3 minutes, when the sugar has melted enough that you no longer hear a crackling sound when you poke around with the spatula, everything is still light to medium brown, and the sugar begins to separate from the butter and melts quickly, pour the popcorn into the pot and stir well. The glaze spreads evenly over the popcorn, and it tastes simply delicious. The popcorn isn’t so greasy or sweet that you have to wash your hands.
