- 12 large potatoes
- Herbal salt (herbal iodized salt)
- olive oil

Perfect for a barbecue evening
Wash the potatoes (scrub thoroughly, so you can eat the skins too) and halve them. Trim any damaged parts. Place them cut-side up in a large casserole dish or a deep baking sheet. Pour plenty of olive oil over them (so that a little runs over all the potato halves) and season with herb iodized salt (not too timidly). Bake the potatoes in the oven at about 200°C for 45 minutes (check with a fork for a bit of tenderness every now and then). The potatoes go very well with creamed potatoes/sour cream and grilled meat.
