Dessert or Sweet Dish: Raspberry Quark with Crunchy Muesli and Amarettini
The perfect dessert or sweet dish: raspberry quark with crunchy muesli and amarettini recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 500 g Quark cream, quark preparation 0.2% fat
- 2 tbsp Honey
- 2 tbsp Amaretto syrup or elderflower syrup or liqueur; alternatively orange juice
- 1 shot Mineral water
- 16 tbsp Crunchy cereal
- 16 tbsp Amarettini almond biscuits or pink meringues
- 175 g Raspberries
- Meringue as needed
- Fresh mint leaves as required
- Mix the quark cream with honey and amaretto syrup. Stir in a small dash of sparkling water so that the cream loosens up. Try if it’s sweet enough (but be careful: it shouldn’t be too sweet, as muesli and amarettini also contain sugar!)
- Pour 2 tablespoons of crunchy muesli into 4 beautiful glasses, add approx. 2 tablespoons of coarsely crumbled amarettinis and 1 – 2 tablespoons of quark cream. Make sure that you can clearly see the individual layers from the outside. Then layer the crunchy muesli, amarettini and quark cream again in the same order and quantity.
- Decorate the top with raspberries and mint leaves. It is best to let it steep in the refrigerator before serving.
- The whole thing tastes delicious with elderflower syrup instead of amaretto syrup and crumbled pink meringues instead of amarettinis. 🙂
- If it’s a dessert, I might even add some whipped cream to the quark cream.
