Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 2 pieces of flatbread
- 3 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 tbsp cream cheese
- 5 olives
- 1 tomato(s)
- 250 g minced meat
- 125 g cheese, grated
- 1 tbsp water
- Herbs and spices to taste
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
the best of both
Simply buy some “naked” flatbread from the kebab shop next door (ours were about 13 cm in diameter, so round) and cut it crosswise. Stir together a delicious sauce made from tomato paste, cream cheese, chopped olives, and, of course, herbs and spices of your choice. The quantities of the sauce ingredients are rough estimates; you’ll need enough sauce to cover each pizza base nicely. Then spread the sauce on the flatbread slices, top with pre-cooked ground beef (season well in the pan if you like), thinly slice tomato, sprinkle with cheese, and bake in the preheated oven. Just leave the whole thing in for 5-10 minutes at 200°C until the cheese is nicely melted. Instead of kebab shop flatbread, you can of course also use packaged flatbread from the supermarket, but I personally don’t find it quite as tasty.
