Doro's applesauce

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 2 kg apples
  • 100 ml juice (apple spritzer)
  • 100 ml white wine, dry
  • 2 packets of vanilla sugar
  • n. B. sugar
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp Amaretto

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

as a dessert with vanilla sauce or with potato pancakes

Quarter and core the apples (I leave the skin on). Bring to a boil with apple spritzer, white wine, vanilla sugar, and butter, then simmer until soft. Pass through a food mill, season the applesauce with sugar, and stir in the Amaretto.
