Double Black Iced Tea

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 10 g black tea or 6 tea bags
  • ½ liter of boiling water
  • ½ liter ice cubes, at least
  • Water or mineral water, cold, to refill
  • 60 g sugar, or 70 g whole cane sugar
  • 125 ml syrup (elderberry syrup)

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

with black elderberry syrup and black tea

Pour boiling water over the tea and let it steep for 2-3 minutes. Place the ice cubes, sugar, and elderberry syrup in a shock-resistant container (e.g., a saucepan; for a glass jug, please follow the manufacturer’s instructions). Pour in the brewed tea and stir immediately to dissolve and distribute the sugar and syrup evenly, and to ensure everything cools evenly to refrigerator temperature. Pour cold water or mineral water over 2 liters of iced tea.
