Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 ½ kg strawberries

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 8 hours; Total time approx. 9 hours

as a snack, for muesli or fruit tea

Wash the strawberries, remove the stems, and slice them. Arrange them on the dehydrator trays. Line them with parchment paper if necessary. Dehydrate on level 3 for about four hours, then reduce to level 2 and dehydrate the strawberries for another 3-4 hours, or longer if needed. In sunny weather, I let the fruit finish drying on parchment paper in the sun. Let it cool completely before filling jars.
