Easter Nests Made from Quark Oil Dough
The perfect easter nests made from quark oil dough recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 300 g Flour
- 1 packet Baking powder
- 75 g Sugar
- 1 packet Vanilla sugar
- 1 pinch Salt
- 6 tbsp Milk
- 6 tbsp Cooking oil
- 150 g Quark
- Mix the flour with the baking powder and sift into a mixing bowl.
- Add the remaining ingredients and use the dough hook of a hand mixer to form a dough.
- Shape the dough into a roll and divide into 12 equal pieces.
- From each piece a finger thickness of approx. 30cm. Form a long roll, bend in half and twist around each other. Shape this into a wreath and press half of an egg shell into it. Serves as a placeholder, as the pastries rise when baking 😉
- Place the wreaths on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and brush thinly with canned milk. Bake at 175 ° C for 15 minutes.
- After baking, remove the eggshell, let it cool down briefly and put a colored egg in each nest.
- I wrapped the nest in foil and gave it away at Easter, it was a great gift 🙂 Have fun!
