Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 700 ml red wine
  • 200 ml juice (elderberry juice)
  • 1 orange(s)
  • 1 lemon(s)
  • Sugar, to taste
  • mulled wine spice

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

We like to drink this elderberry mulled wine when we have a cold. It always helps. Heat the red wine and elderberry juice. Squeeze the orange and lemon. Add the squeezed juice with the mulled wine spices and let it steep for 5 minutes. Strain the mixture through a fine sieve into a heatproof glass jug and serve with sugar on the side. Enjoy!
