Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 kg pear(s)
  • 1 kg elderberries (without stems)
  • ¾ kg sugar
  • 2 bags of Gelfix
  • some water

Instructions

Boil the elderberries with a little water. Not too much water, just don’t let them sit dry in the pot. When they’re soft, pass them through the fine-mesh food mill and squeeze the juice into a pot. Add the peeled and sliced ​​pears. Once the pears are slightly soft, puree them with an immersion blender or pass them through the food mill. Stir in the sugar and bring to a boil. Stir in the gelatin. Once the jam has set, pour the jam into twist-off jars, seal immediately, and turn upside down for five minutes.
