Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 kg apples, either chopped or coarsely grated
  • 1 handful of almond flakes
  • 1 handful of rum raisins
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 bottle of red wine (e.g. Blaufränkisch)
  • 2 packs of gelling sugar 2:1

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Dissolve the gelling sugar in the wine, add the sliced ​​or grated apples and the remaining ingredients, and bring to a boil. Simmer for about 4 minutes, test for settling, and then pour into jars and seal. If you like, you can also add a little rum to the jar lids before sealing.
