Fake Apple Tiramisu

Spread the love

Ingredients for 16 servings:

  • 500 g quark
  • 250 g cream
  • 100 g sugar
  • 3 packets of vanilla sugar
  • some lemon(s), grated peel
  • 750 g applesauce
  • 36 cookies (butter cookies)
  • Cinnamon

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Rest time approx. 6 hours; Total time approx. 6 hours 25 minutes

Variation with quark and butter biscuits

Whip the cream until stiff. Whip the quark with the vanilla sugar, sugar, and lemon zest until the sugar has dissolved; this takes 1-2 minutes. Carefully fold in the whipped cream. Place the butter cookies in a baking dish as the first layer (I used a brownie dish, so exactly 16 cookies were enough for the first layer). Now spread about half of the applesauce on the cookies, followed by half of the quark cream. Sprinkle a little cinnamon over the top. Repeat this process so that the tiramisu ends with the quark cream. Sprinkle a little more cinnamon over the cream and refrigerate the tiramisu. It now needs to sit for 4 hours; ideally overnight, so it develops its full flavor! It’s a light and fresh version! If you prefer it even lighter, substitute sugar for sweetener and cream for Cremefine! Nutritional values: (makes 16 small servings) Total tiramisu: 1740.00 kcal/7285.03 kJ, 48g fat.
