Farmer’s Bread with Hearty Topping
The perfect farmer’s bread with hearty topping recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 140 g Boiled potatoes (rest!)
- 120 g Small vine tomatoes (rest!)
- 1 tbsp Sunflower oil
- 1 tsp Whole caraway seeds
- 2 Eggs
- 2 big pinches Coarse sea salt from the mill
- 2 big pinches Colorful pepper from the mill
- 2 Discs Farmers bread
- 1 Pickled cucumber
- Cut the potatoes into slices. Wash tomatoes and cut in half. Heat sunflower oil (1 tbsp) in a coated pan, fry the potato slices vigorously, tan the tomato halves and stir-fry with them. Season with whole caraway (1 teaspoon). Whisk the eggs, drizzle over the potato / tomato pan and let them set slowly. Season with coarse sea salt from the mill (2 big pinches) and colored pepper from the mill (2 big pinches), halve and divide over 2 peasant breads. Serve garnished with half a cucumber each.
