Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 600 g turkey schnitzel or pork schnitzel
  • 300 g mushrooms, fresh or from the can
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 200 ml tomato ketchup
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tsp Tabasco
  • 1 tsp seasoning mix for steak(s)
  • 1 tbsp basil

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest period approx. 1 day; Total time approx. 1 day 15 minutes

Place the meat in a casserole dish. Spread the mushrooms and onion over the meat. Mix the remaining ingredients well and pour over the meat. Refrigerate for 24 hours to allow the meat to marinate. Roast at 175°C (350°F) for about 1.5 hours. If you like spicy food, like me, season with chili peppers or hot peppers. Enjoy! Goes very well with rice and noodles.
