Chocolate muffins

Spread the love

Ingredients for 12 servings:

  • 180 g butter or margarine
  • 150 g sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 330 g flour
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 8 tbsp milk
  • 2 ½ bars of chocolate (milk)

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Cream the butter until fluffy, then gradually stir in the sugar and eggs. Mix the sifted flour with the baking powder and stir in alternately with the milk. Finally, stir in the chocolate chunks (they can be about 1/2 cm in size). (I put the whole bars in the freezer for a short time; they’re easier to break up when cold.) Grease a muffin tin well, sprinkle with breadcrumbs, and spread the batter evenly. Bake in the oven at 190°C (375°F) for about 20-25 minutes. My kids love these muffins. They’re a huge hit at every birthday party.
