Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 8 chicory
  • 4 pork chops or pork schnitzel
  • e.g. butter
  • salt and pepper
  • breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg(s)
  • lemon juice
  • some water

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Trim the chicory and sauté it in a buttered pan with salt, pepper, lemon juice, and a little water for about 15 minutes. Meanwhile, coat the cutlets or schnitzel in egg and breadcrumbs as usual and fry in melted butter until golden brown on both sides. Remove the cutlets and keep warm. Drain the chicory and toss in the butter. Serve with boiled potatoes and a green salad.
