Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 500 g potato(s), waxy
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tsp salt, orange-rosemary salt, preparation see below
  • 1 tsp rosemary, freshly chopped or dried (or other herbs)
  • 1 orange(s) (organic, untreated)
  • 4 tbsp sea salt, coarse
  • 1 tbsp rosemary, dried

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

from the oven – low-fat

Orange and rosemary salt: Combine the grated zest of an organic orange with 1 tablespoon of dried rosemary and 4 tablespoons of coarse sea salt in a mortar and pestle. Place on a plate and let it dry for a few hours. If it clumps, combine again in the mortar and pestle. Transfer to a jar and seal. Cut the potatoes into even-sized sticks and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Mix thoroughly with your hands with the olive oil, orange and rosemary salt, and 1 teaspoon of rosemary, then spread evenly on the baking sheet. Bake for about 30 minutes at medium heat, turning frequently. They should be crispy and golden brown on the outside and soft on the inside.
