  • 2 tbsp Curry powder
  • 2 tbsp Starch
  • 2 tbsp Clarified butter
  • 4 tbsp Sour cream
  • 0,5 bunch Chives
  • Salt pepper
  • 1 pinch Sugar


  • Mix the starch with the curry powder.
  • Roll the matjes in it.
  • Fry the matjes in clarified butter in a pan for 1 minute on each side.
  • Drain on kitchen paper.
  • In the meantime, mix the sour cream with the other ingredients and season to taste.
  • Serve with jacket potatoes.
  • Tastes really delicious !!!!
