Fried Original Cabbage – Homemade
The perfect fried original cabbage – homemade recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 1 Half a head original cabbage
- 1 bunch Spring onion
- 1 Onion
- 2 Garlic cloves
- 2 Red peppers
- 2 tbsp Sherry vinegar
- 3 tbsp Soy sauce
- 1 tsp Sambal Oelek
- 1 tsp Food starch
- 3 tbsp Peanut oil
- 1 tbsp Sesame oil
- 1 tbsp Salt
- 1 tbsp Pepper
- Remove the withered leaves of the original cabbage, then quarter and remove the stalk. Wash and drain the cabbage, cut into narrow strips.
- Clean the spring onions and cut into small rings, clean the onion and garlic cloves and cut into small cubes.
- Halve the peppers, remove the seeds and the white meat, wash and cut into strips.
- Mix the sherry vinegar, soy sauce, sambal oelek and cornstarch to a sauce.
- Heat the pan, add the peanut oil, sweat the onion and garlic briefly, then add the original cabbage and fry until the cabbage is reduced. Add the spring onions and pepper strips and sauté briefly.
- Pour the sauce over the dish and mix well, season again with the spices and then serve.
