Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 60 g onion(s)
  • 1 garlic clove(s), if you like
  • 100 g water
  • 50 g breadcrumbs
  • 500 g minced pork, can also be mixed mince
  • 10 g salt
  • Pepper from the mill, to taste
  • 1 pinch(s) of curry
  • some nutmeg, freshly grated
  • Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Made in the Thermomix.

Place the roughly chopped onions and garlic in the mixing bowl. Chop for 3 seconds/speed 8, then scrape the mixture down the sides of the mixing bowl with a spatula. Add the water and breadcrumbs to the mixing bowl and mix for 10 seconds/speed 3. Now add the minced meat and spices to the mixing bowl and mix for 1 minute/speed 3 until everything forms a smooth mixture. Remove the mixture from the mixing bowl, form it into 6-8 meatballs, and fry in a pan with vegetable oil until tender. You can also use this meatball mixture to fill Maultaschen (small pasta), cannelloni, and ravioli.
