Fruit Ground

The perfect fruit ground recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 125 g Soft butter or margarine
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 100 g Sugar
  • 1 packet Vanilla sugar
  • 2 Pc. Eggs
  • 175 g Flour
  • 1 tsp Baking powder
  • 1 shot Milk
  1. Stir the butter until foamy and gradually stir in the salt, sugar and vanilla sugar. Stir in the eggs one at a time for about 1/2 minute until a creamy, foamy mixture is formed.
  2. Mix the flour and baking powder in a bowl and stir briefly into the egg mixture alternately with the milk on a low level.
  3. Place the dough in a greased fruit base dish sprinkled with breadcrumbs and bake in the preheated oven at 180 degrees (or fan oven 160 degrees) for about 20-23 minutes in the lower third of the oven.
  4. Take out and fall out of the mold. Let the floor cool down and then cover it as you like.
  5. In this case, I prepared a packet of Paradise Cream Vanilla according to the package instructions and spread it on the cooled base. Spread the currants on top and top it with a red cake topping.
