delicious fruit salad as I remember it from my childhood and prepare it every Christmas

Set aside 2 oranges, 2 tangerines, and 1 lemon. Cut the remaining fruit into small pieces and place them in a large bowl. Cut open and squeeze the 2 oranges, 2 tangerines, and 1 lemon, then add the juice and pulp to the salad and mix well. Now season to taste with vanilla sugar, sugar, gingerbread spice, cinnamon, and a pinch of salt. I can’t really say how much you need; it just has to taste of winter and Christmas, then it’s good. Finally, add the almonds or nuts, or both, to the salad and mix well. If you like, you can also add desiccated coconut; that tastes very good too. You can also vary the fruit, depending on your preference. It’s best to let the salad sit for 2 hours so the flavors can develop properly.
