Fruity yogurt rice

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • ½ cup basmati
  • 100 g natural yogurt or vanilla yogurt
  • e.g. compote (e.g. apricot-apple puree)
  • n. B. Fruits, fresh
  • n. B. Honey

Boil the basmati rice in water until tender. I always let the rice simmer a little longer than the package specifies, as I like it a little softer. Drain the rice and divide it between two bowls. Stir in about 50g of yogurt to each bowl (or more, if you like). Sweeten with honey if desired, although I personally omit it. Now stir in the compote or fresh, chopped, or pureed fruit. About 2 tablespoons of compote is enough for me. It can also be layered in a sealable jar and taken to kindergarten, school, or work with a spoon.
