Garlic Ajvar Sauce

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 200 ml whipped cream
  • 2 tbsp Ajvar, mild or spicy (depending on taste)
  • 1 shot of white wine
  • ½ tsp beef broth, instant
  • some pepper, freshly ground
  • 2 cloves garlic, amount to taste
  • 1 tsp sunflower oil
  • some chili flakes (if you like)

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Peel the garlic and press it with a garlic press or finely dice it. Add a little oil to a pan and briefly fry the garlic. Deglaze with cream and white wine. Season with pepper and the broth. Stir in the ajvar and let it simmer briefly. Taste and adjust the seasoning if desired. If you like it spicier, you can also add some freshly ground chili flakes. Serve with chicken breast and fried potatoes, rice, or French fries.
