Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 cup sour cream or sour cream
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • salt and pepper
  • possibly herbs

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Quick to prepare – goes well with baguette, baked potatoes or steak

Press the garlic onto the sour cream. Stir until smooth and season with salt and pepper. Tastes great with baguette, baked potatoes, or steak. Do not use garlic powder. In a pinch, you can use powder for warm dishes, but the powder doesn’t dissolve well in cold dishes and doesn’t taste as good. Tip: If you prefer a lighter dish, you can use sour cream instead of sour cream. You can also refine it with herbs (e.g., parsley), if you like.
