Ginger tea

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 ½ liters of water
  • 2 tea bags (rosehip tea)
  • 5 slice(s) ginger, finely sliced
  • ½ lemon(s), sliced
  • e.g. honey or sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Boil water and set the pot aside. Add the tea bags, ginger slices, and lemon slices to the water. Remove the lemon peel when the pulp breaks down and dissolves into the tea. Remove the tea bags after about 7 minutes. Let the ginger steep for longer, about 15 minutes if desired (try to taste!). Finally, sweeten the tea with honey or sugar to taste. Drink hot. You can also add orange slices or a cinnamon stick, if desired. Good on cold days—ginger tea warms you from the inside.
