Glazed grilled pineapple with ice cream and mint sugar

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 pineapple, fresh, peeled
  • 50 g honey, liquid
  • 1 tsp, heaped mustard (Dijon mustard)
  • 1 orange(s), juice and grated peel
  • 1 sprig(s) mint
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 4 scoops of ice cream (preferably pistachio)

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Cut the pineapple into 1-2 cm thick slices. Mix together the honey, mustard, orange zest, and orange juice. Grill the pineapple until it has clearly visible brown streaks from the grill. Brush it with the marinade a few times. Grind the mint leaves with the sugar in a mortar and pestle. Serve the pineapple with the ice cream. Drizzle with the remaining marinade and sprinkle the sugar-mint mixture over the pineapple.
