Gnocchi alla Panna – Gnocchi in ham and cream sauce

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 500 g gnocchi (from the refrigerated section)
  • 1 onion(s)
  • some oil for frying
  • 5 slices of raw ham
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • 100 ml cream
  • 100 ml milk
  • 75 g Parmesan, grated
  • 1 tbsp parsley, chopped
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Let the gnocchi simmer in boiling salted water for about 2 minutes, then drain. Dice the onion and ham. Fry the onion in a little oil. When translucent, fry the ham briefly. Crush the garlic and add it. Mix everything together, then deglaze with the cream and milk. Stir 50g of the grated Parmesan cheese into the sauce and let it melt. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Add the gnocchi to the pan, toss with the sauce, and heat briefly. Stir in the parsley and serve sprinkled with the remaining Parmesan cheese.
