Gnocchi and vegetable pan with meatballs

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g bratwurst (butcher’s bratwurst), fresh
  • 400 g gnocchi (from the refrigerated section or homemade)
  • 500 g vegetable mix (from fresh vegetables)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil for frying
  • 1 piece(s) herb butter
  • e.g. salt and pepper

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Press the sausage out of the casing and form it into small balls with wet hands. Fry in a pan without adding any fat until crispy. Remove from the pan and keep warm. Fry the gnocchi in the hot sausage fat until golden brown. Remove from the pan and keep warm. Heat the olive oil in the pan and sauté the fresh mixed vegetables, cut into bite-sized pieces, for about 10 minutes, depending on how firm they are. Mix everything back in the pan and season with herb butter, pepper, and salt.
