Gnocchi with bacon and peas

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 500 g gnocchi
  • 300 g peas, frozen
  • 200 g bacon, cut into cubes
  • 250 ml Cremefine, 15%
  • 1 onion(s), red
  • 30 g Parmesan, sliced
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 pinch of nutmeg powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Thaw the peas in a bowl about 30 minutes before cooking. Slowly cook the bacon in a pan (boil off any excess fat). Drain off any excess fat. Finely dice the onion and add it to the pan with the bacon. Prepare the gnocchi according to the package instructions. Add the Cremefine to the pan and cook over medium heat. Stir in the peas. Season everything with pepper and nutmeg. Then add the gnocchi directly to the pan, along with a ladleful of the pasta water. Stir in the Parmesan cheese. Let everything simmer for a few minutes over low heat, stirring occasionally.
